Online and software development
We build most of our websites and software applications in ASP (Microsoft Active Server Pages) with SQL databases. For the really big projects we will use .NET as our development platform. We also use VB Script, Javascript and Flash.
All projects go through a project development process that we've developed over the years based on our experiences of getting work done as effectively and efficiently as possible. In a nutshell your project will go through these steps (of course there's a lot more that goes on 'under the hood' but let's leave all of that to the technicians in the backroom).
Step 1 - Consult
Our team will meet with you to discuss your objectives and to make sure we really understand what is needed to achieve them. We will talk about the infrastructure of the hardware or software.
Step 2 - Scope
Whether it be Hardware or software, We prepare an easy to follow document that dependant on the project has basic diagrams of all of your IT infrastructure, notes on your IT strategy which may include key pages of your website, your administration needs and any other requirements we've discussed.
Step 3 - Design and Integrate
This is where our team apply the design, bringing the technical and creative processes together.
Step 6 - Test drive
We test everything internally before we hand it over to you to review and provide you with training in using your administration system.
Step 7 - Go Live!
Your website gets moved onto the live server and checked through again.
